The members of KCA do not just wait for calls for assistance,
they take a proactive role and when they 'see a need, they meet the need'!
A new dog house was built by one of our members and donated to a family with a very loving dog who, due to circumstances, must live outside. Now he has shelter for when the sun, rain, snow and wind turn harsh; but he loves it best because it has a flat roof so he can fully stretch out!
Ah, the life of a contented pooch!
Another member helped a family find homes for one of their dogs and her puppies. It took networking with many people and groups, but we were all rewarded for the extra efforts when we saw them all placed in loving, forever homes!
All members are continuously working, some out on the front lines; others in the background, but all are dedicated to bettering the lives of our Kalkaska Area animals.
